Research poster 2 presented at the SPIN summit using GENEActiv

| GENEActiv News

GENEActiv were doubly delighted to see another research poster presented at the SPIN Summit, October 1st – 3rd 2013, Vancouver, Canada, using our waterproof GENEActiv product for data collection and monitoring. Mads B. Hansen & John M. Barden from the Neuromechanical Research Centre at the University presented a poster on the ‘Determination of Peak Body Acceleration using a Body-Fixed Sensor in Competitive Front Crawl Swimming‘.

The devices were placed on both the swimmer’s wrist and lower back whilst sampling the data at 60Hz. We would like to thank Dr. John Barden & Mads Hansen for sharing this exciting research with us and giving us permission to share their work, we hope you enjoy reading it.
