Digital lifestyle measurement is central to remote monitoring
Understanding individuals’ lifestyles and physical behaviours in their everyday environment provides critical information for health professionals in the areas below.
The accurate measurement of movement with high resolution raw data moves us beyond traditional actigraphy to detailed sleep and posture analysis, activity recognition and specific measures of physical motion.
How our technology helps
Activinsights’ unobtrusive wearables take continuous measures of the participant’s movement and environment. Algorithms are then used to infer information about the type, duration, and characteristics of physical behaviours that make up daily living.
There are a wide range of digital health measures that can be obtained from these data and algorithms. When they measure how the participant functions or indicate how they feel, they can be used for clinical outcome assessment. When used to measure biological processes, pathogenic processes, or responses to a dose, exposure or intervention they are used as biomarkers.
