We’re proud to announce that Activinsights has won the Digital Health Technology Award at this year’s Wearable Tech Show, which took place at ExCeL in London earlier this month.
“The Wearable Awards get stronger and stronger each year. More than 400 companies entered for 2017, making it one of the most sought-after accolades in technology,” commented Wearable Technology Show COO John Weir.
Activinsights makes professional wearables that can be used in healthcare, scientific research and sport performance. Validated through over 200 peer review papers, the wearable has a one year battery life and can be given to a patient to allow his or her clinician to monitor vital behaviour data.
The judges were impressed by our professional wearables and the implications they have for providing efficient diagnostic solutions. Used in some Southern NHS trusts currently, the Activinsights Band is used as a technique to cut waiting lists in the sleep sector. By giving those with sleep problems the wearable, the data can be fed back to the clinician in a less time consuming way than having a patient in overnight to determine how they sleep.
